adp Group Ltd specialize in providing safe
digging solutions and site investigations to clients from many different industries including, property
development, petroleum, utility, civil engineering, ground remediation and electricity/gas
supply.
Founded as a partnership in
1984, based at our current yard/offices, we have been involved in contracting in both the Agricultural and
Construction industries ever since. In 2006 we concentrated our broad backgrounds
towards our now chosen specialist industry when we introduced and went on to heavily market the
concept of vacuum excavation in the UK, as a result of this and our involvement in the HS(G)47 courses vacuum
excavation is now widely accepted as industry best practice when excavating around or near buried underground
services. As a result of this numerous industry leaders and "blue chip" contractors have taken our methods onboard.
In 2007 we went from a partnership to a Limited company, following that decision adp have grown rapidly and now provide safe
digging solutions and also a broad range of site investigations services to numerous clients.
During
2009 adp launched its Site Investigation
division, first concentrating on the utility surveying dept, this dept is now able to offer all new
and existing customers with a comprehensive service incorporating service tracing, utility mapping and
topographical surveys to give a complete service, adp utilize only the best, most efficient,
up-to-date equipment available from industry leaders such as Radio Detection, Topcon UK and Mala -
adp's utility surveyors are able to
offer their services throughout the UK and Europe.
At the end of
2009 adp's drilling dept was established, this gave the
full range of services in house - eliminating the need to use sub-contractors. adp's
drilling dept utilize Terrier drive sampling rigs, and Comacchio Rotary rigs. The Terrier's are compact
yet surprisingly powerful rigs are capable of providing various drilling techniques including..dynamic windowless
sampling, dynamic probing, SPT's and U100 undisturbed sampling. The Terrier rig comes into its own when it comes to
moving them throughout the country, weighing just 1000kgs we are able to move them on plant trailers behind
Land Rover Defenders. Our Comacchio's, mainly the GEO205 model, are compact yet highly powerful and versatile
hydraulic rigs. These rigs are capable of hollow and solid stem augering in diameters up to 10", rotary coring,
dynamic sampling up to 146mm, SPT's, DPT's, DTH hammer and various well installations. These rigs, weighing just
2500kgs are still easily transported to site via a large plant trailer and Land Rover Defender, with all ancillary
drilling equipment transported to site in its own dedicated drilling support van.
adp's success stems mainly from repeat
business and client recommendation..this is made possible by our commitment to safe working practices, and a strong
belief in training, continual personal development and continuous training.
As part of our continual
development in November 2009 adp were
successful in their audit and achieved registration to the widely respected ISO9001:2008 certification, this
standard gives our customers and clients piece of mind that they can deal with us with the confidence that they
will always be treated in an approved manner by a 100% transparent company. Currently our business development and
H&S teams, in conjunction with our H&S advisors NDC Management, are working towards
OHSAS18001:2007, the H&S standard. Registration to this standard is expected towards the end of
2010.
Recent growth and constant customer demand throughout the past couple of years has driven us to open a
European office in the South of France, this new office, in the form of a new company can supply all of the
services carried in the UK and also take the Vector Vacuum brand forward in to Europe.
