adp recognise that hydraulic breaking is maybe a thing of the past for many reasons..the important issues being HAVS or Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome and the less important ones being the plain and simple aesthetics of the finished product.

Diamond coring is a method of removing hard standing such as reinforced concrete..its uses a large diamond tipped core barrel to drill through the hard top for easy and clean removal prior to vacuum excavation, its free from bursting or spoiling of the surrounding area and due to the method leaving a clean edge its easily re-instated using our steel sleeves and covers which our operators can cement in place to leave a safe, sealed and professional looking finished product...ready for geotechnical drilling.

adp now own and operate several different variations of diamond coring equipment with different size core barrels for differing projects, we have diamond coring units mounted on vacuum excavation trucks to allow just one vehicle to mobilize to site, and we also have units mounted in their own vans, and also utilize our drilling rigs to core..so whether you want the complete service or just some coring alone we can help.

Stand Alone Coring Unit

adp have numerous "stand alone" diamond coring units, these bolt down to the floor via a single point, this keeps them safe, sturdy and ensures a neat accurate core. These units are carried in several of our vac-ex units and also in specialist vans and Land Rovers. adp's stand alone coring units are a cheap, neat, fast and safe method of removing concrete hard standing.

Coring Sizes:

- 150mm - 400mm Diameter coring barrels available

- Barrels up to 450mm in depth available, deeper coring available through use of extensions

Terrier Drill Coring Unit

As an alternative to the conventional bolt/secured coring units adp also offer a mobile track mounted unit, this unit coring unit is fixed to the mast of a Terrier drilling rig, this rig is particularly beneficial when coring on slopes, or through particularly thick concrete such as in refineries or on runways. Other benefits of utilizing a small tracked drilling for diamond coring include:

- No need to secure to floor, saving valuable time

- Ability to utilize coring barrels up to 1000mm in depth

- ability to core on slopes of up to 30%

- Ability to core in tarmac and un-level surfaces
