- adp take delivery of a brand new, environmentally friendly, Citreon Nemo. Details
below.
The nature of our work requires large goods vehicles and powerful
towing vehicles to safely propel our equipment around the UK and Europe; this generally means poor fuel consumption
combined with high Co2 output.
To counteract this when travelling light, such as
our Survey division Utiliscan, we have opted for the other end of the scale to help reduce our carbon foot
print. Utiliscan took delivery of its first Citroen Nemo Hdi this month, a small van that is widely recognised
as the most thrifty available, but still able to carry a whopping 600kg of tools.
The Nemo was supplied by local dealer A E Wilcox
& Sons, in line with company policy supporting our neighbours, it produces 75hp and returns a combined
65mpg, with only 113g/km of Co2 emissions and constructed from 95% recoverable materials.
It is inevitable that ADP will burn carbon, but
Utiliscan will readdress the balance and help produce less!
