What is our Service Tracing/Clearance service?

Service clearance from adp is rapidly becoming the choice method of clearing utilities for many contractors. One of our fully trained and highly experienced utility surveyors will attend your site and survey requested area/s, any identified services will be clearly marked on the ground. Numerous equipment used including electro-magnetic and GPR systems.

Full scale/complete site utility maps are a very useful tool when planning/plotting/designing new builds, new utility runs, boreholes or trial pits. However on a large site, heavily congested with delicate services any engineer is hard pushed to choose a location clear of utilities. We will clear an area with a radius of at least 5m clear of your excavation and mark any nearby utilities clearly on the ground using weatherproof paint, our surveyor will then mark a "safe drill zone", an area that is safe to drill or excavate. This service should not be utilized instead of safe digging techniques such as vacuum excavation, but as well as...as reliable as our modern, state-of-the-art equipment is..its no replacement for physically uncovering and locating a utility safely.
