Electromagnetic locators such as the RD4000 from Radio Detection enable us to locate metallic services such as power cables, cast iron mains both Gas and Water and telecommunication cables. This service is now becoming more and more popular especially in built up areas due to its non-intrusive method of data collection. Using the GPR radar and RFL radio frequency locators an area normally of no more than 3m x 3m is scanned to locate underground utilities. A scan area photograph will be taken and used along with the gathered cross section information which will be produced in electronic format to ensure the client has an excellent record of the scan site.

GPR Radars such as the RD1000 from Radio Detection allow us to confirm the location of utilities already discovered and locate the non-metallic utilities such as PE water and gas mains along with fibre-optics previously undetected by the use of electromagnetic locators only. The combination of the two technologies gives us the best information to pass on to you.

We pride ourselves on getting the job done. adp offer tailor-made packages to accommodate every client and every site requirement from a simple cable trace to a complete and comprehensive site survey achieved with the use of both electro-magnetic locate equipment as well as ground penetrating radar. We are therefore able to locate both metallic services such as power, gas and water, along with the non-metallic services such as fibre, gas and water. C.A.D can be offered on all jobs which mean that clients can also have all of the utility information surveyed and presented back in C.A.D .dwg form, enabling clients to share and retain site information easily.

Latest technologies from Topcon UK, including the GPT7500, are used to accurately survey and record anything from building heights/locations and street furniture for production of utility maps to bore hole/well locations and levels. GR3 Topcon GPS equipment also available.

Surveyor to attend site and trace all services crossing site as per above, all data then added to a utility map, base tile either supplied by customer or produced in house with topographical equipment. All information plotted onto A1 AutoCAD produced maps.

With the latest technology in surveying equipment from Topcon UK we can fully survey sites accurately providing clients with all the site information that they require, from spot heights/levels to street furniture types and positions.

adp can provide architects, developers and other parties' accurate drawings of their site or land. The plan given mainly in a two dimensional form provides the precise locations of static features such as buildings, kerb lines, fences, trees, street furniture and service covers, all of this is combined with height levels and/or contours to aid in the design and development. This is produced to the client normally as a paper drawing, to scale, and as a digital CAD file. With the digital file of the survey 3D modelling of the survey area can also be achieved.
