adp Group surveyors will attend site on a day rate basis, to locate, trace and identify buried services on any type of site, we have experience working on numerous sites..anything from Hospitals to Airports, Oil Refineries to Petrol Filling Stations.

We will base our survey either on information and base tiles provided by the client, or we can carry out our own "desk top survey" and using GPS enabled systems produce our own base tile.

Once all the relevant data has been compiled the surveyor that attended your site will go back to the office and process using AutoCAD, once finished he will present this data to you in both in AutoCAD format and if required in a hard copy A1.

Equipment used:

Electromagnetic CAT & Genny Equipement:

We utilize the very latest electromagnetic technology from industry leaders such as Radio Detection, our survey teams have numerous versions of these tools, namely the RD8000's, RD4000's and CAT3+'s..all kits are utilized with Genny's to induce easily traceable signals.

Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR):

We recognise the benefits, and heavily invest in the top of the range GPR equipment from manufacturers such as Mala and Radio Detection. These radars are a very useful tool when locating numerous items such as utilities, tanks, foundations and even pile caps. Inline with the legal requirements of the Radio and Wireless Regulatory Authority OFCOM, we hold our GPR licence.

Total Stations/GPS Systems

Moving with the times, we no longer rely on putting pencil to paper and logging locations of utilities ready for the production of an A1 map/drawing, we now utilize our state-of-the-art Total Stations and GPS systems, this allows all gathered information to be accurate to +/- 10mm. The systems gathered information can then be downloaded directly into our AutoCAD systems and information processed by skilled in house surveyors, this information is then presented to our client by way of a utility map/drawing.
